Minnesota Boat Club wedding – even when things go wrong, they go right
I had an incredibly full day with these guys – cameras were dropped (multiple backups always at the ready), Raspberry Island was partially flooded with record high water, the 90 degree weather and humidity kept things at a leisurely pace, my fear of heights made for an interesting walk across the bridge 4 floors above a raging Mississippi River.
And I would gladly do it again and more as long as Kelly + Ted (and their families!) were there to celebrate! A beautiful day, just before the Mississippi crested and the Boat Club was closed temporarily.
The high water only made the wedding ceremony more spectacular with the combination of cityscape and river. The heat made the cocktails more pleasurable at social hour and the high heeled shoes come off faster during dancing.
