Rebecca and Barak were married at Shir Tikvah Congregation in Minneapolis nearly 10 years ago. I enjoyed photographing their wedding – it was my first time photographing a tish, and their hora dance is still among the most memorable in terms of energy, duration, and general enthusiasm. In the decade since their wedding, they have changed jobs, moved across the country, and started a family.
Rebecca contacted me and said their lives were finally settled enough and they wanted a physical memory of their wedding photos. I was thrilled to put together a wedding album for them after all this time – I keep backups of every wedding I’ve ever photographed in the cloud for just such an occasion.
Their brown leather wedding album features a off-center cameo photo inset in the cover. The pages are all flush mount, and developed as true photographs into the paper so that not only can Rebecca and Barak’s children look through the album, but their children’s children will handle it as well.
Thank you, Rebecca and Barak, for trusting me with your taking your wedding photos in the first place, and trusting me again, a decade later, to preserve them in this album for you.
