I was so honored to have Karen & Jeremy’s wedding at featured in the the Fall 2010 issue of Minnesota Bride Magazine! Last October, Karen & Jeremy had their wedding at the Como Park Historic Streetcar Station on the grounds of Como Park. They really wanted to take photos on the vintage “Cafesjian’s Carousel” , which required a lot of commitment to make happen. Karen had to finagle her wedding dress while Jeremy dealt with his suit and her flowers, and I maneuvered 30 lb of photography equipment onto a wooden horse. I wasn’t allowed to move around on the carousel during the ride, so I did a combination of twisting and sitting side-saddle. By the second time around, I stopped being sea sick, and every round after that made it easier to predict the light and the position of the horses. Thanks to Karen & Jeremy for their great ideas and their willingness to plan their wedding around the 15 minutes in the carousel!
