I’ve shot over 200 weddings, and my wedding and editorial work has been featured in print magazines including The Knot, Minnesota Bride, Saveur, Food & Wine, Lavender, Veil, and Culture, as well as CNN Money online, the Minneapolis St Paul Business Journal, chow.com, City Pages, and the Star Tribune. Together with my husband, I have documented local food culture as a founding photographer of heavytable.com and as photographer for The Master Cheesemakers of Wisconsin (UW Press 2009).
In 2009, I founded the Independent Wedding Association, a local community of wedding professionals, hosting events and wedding workshops to share our love of weddings with brides and grooms looking for a more personal and information-heavy approach to planning their Midwest wedding.
Although I am based in the Twin Cities, I have shot weddings all over the Midwest as well as Cape Cod, San Francisco, New York, New Zealand, Ireland and Mexico. I love to travel, and am always happy to chat about shooting events outside of Minneapolis/St.Paul.
