I was honored when they asked me to photograph their wedding in Madison, but I also knew that a challenge was upon me: Ian doesn’t smile. Luckily for me (and for Ian)  it turns out that when you marry your best friend, you are pretty happy, so he and Liza were all smiles all day, surrounded by an abundance of friends and family to celebrate with. Thanks for so many years of friendship, and I am so happy to see two good friends so happy together.

I hadn’t met them before the wedding (they live out of state) and so it was wonderful finding them so fun to work with. They had their reception in a lovely church in Rice Lake, Wisconsin, and then the reception was in an actual barn (the Enchanted Barn)
