For years, they attended mass at different times on Sundays, volunteered different days during the week, and were both active members of the Cathedral of St Paul, without ever meeting one another. Their wedding was all the more poignant because they have shared such parallel lives for so long, and their marriage is all the stronger for it. And then they had a polka band!

Billy is from Ireland, and Katie’s family is Boston Irish, so there was a lot of merriment, a good amount of guiness, and lots of laughter. Shooting a wedding in Ireland was like a dream come true, and it was such a pleasure to revisit the images and finally blog them! Some of my favorites are views of the Kilkenny Castle, where we did some formal photos.
