Task: bring a noir feel to a portrait with the Minneapolis skyline. Solution: off-camera flash to create moody shadows and allow me to stop down on my camera for a darker sky and background. Also vital to this portrait – the right clients. Thanks, Tonya & Emem!
Colleen & Micah met in high school in Madison, WI. They spent a few years apart before they ended up in Chicago, and now they are getting married later this year. Madison made a great backdrop for their engagement photos, and now I am even more excited to photograph their wedding later.
So excited to shoot Becky and Carrie’s wedding later this year! We had a great time at Lake Hiawatha park, where they wanted lots of fun summer photos, and the weather obliged. I forgot how fun it was to blow the dandelion’s when they bloom, so thanks to Becky & Carrie for reminding me
