Teri & Sam clearly love Madison. They met in college when they lived across the street from each other, and they wanted to celebrate their wedding with everything Madison – photos at the apartment where they met, checking out the new Union South on opening day, dancing at the Memorial Union, invitations with Madison scenes, and partying with Bucky Badger. Truly, epically, Madison.

When I arrived to take photos of Colleen and Micah, Jessica (Colleen’s sister-in-law) remarked that in her gown, Colleen looks like a tall glass of champagne. What a fine description for the totally elegant but understated charm that was Colleen & Micah’s wedding. That same simple charm speak a bit also to their relationship – quietly steady, constantly classic. I was so fortunate to able to document their wedding in Madison.

Since Heather and Mike live in Philadelphia, Madison may seem like an unlikely location for a destination wedding. But you would be hard pressed to find a better mix of beautiful architecture, amazing clouds, lake views, and cheese curds than Wisconsin’s capitol city. Heather and Mike didn’t focus much on the cheese curds, but they had a little bit of everything else with their heartfelt and sociable wedding. I hope you took a little of the Midwest with you!

Go over to CNN Money and Fortune Magazine and watch this video about Tracey Lloyd. I was lucky enough to photograph her wedding to Miguel in 2008, and I feel very blessed to know them. CNN Money has interviewed Tracey about her journey from West Point to civilian life and taking her leadership knowledge into the Walmart corporate world. Also, around minute 3, you will see some of the images I captured of their lovely and heartfelt wedding at the Milwaukee Art Museum.
