CNN Money recently did a piece on Tracey and her journey from West Point to her current work, and featured a few of my images from their wedding during the video. It got me thinking about their wedding photos, and what a fantastic time I had being a small part of Tracey and Miguel’s wedding day.
I had been so nervous going into this wedding at the Milwaukee Art Museum because Tracey and Miguel did not want to see each other before the ceremony, and their ceremony would be at sunset. Even though all the photos would be at night, they still wanted some of the feel of their location on lake Michigan, which meant that we had about 15 minutes of photos until there was total darkness. So, I grabbed their best man, Tubbs, threw a flash in his hand and told him where to point it while we rushed to the top of the art center for the last touch of the moon.

Go over to CNN Money and Fortune Magazine right now and watch this video about Tracey Lloyd. I was lucky enough to photograph her wedding to Miguel in 2008, and I feel very blessed to know them. CNN Money has interviewed Tracey about her journey from West Point to civilian life and taking her leadership knowledge into the Walmart corporate world. Also, around minute 3, you will see some of the images I captured of their lovely and heartfelt wedding at the Milwaukee Art Museum.
Tracey and Miguel had a royally beautiful wedding at the Milwaukee Art Museum on Lake Michigan. The day was perfect, they have impeccable taste, and all of their family and friends were lively and emotional. I felt very lucky to be a part of such a classy affair!

I know that everyone put a lot of effort in to all of the details, and it made for some lovely vintage pieces mixed with the modern museum.

Not only did Tracey look gorgeous, but the whole wedding party (and Miguel!) looked great!

As you can see, the sun set during the ceremony, so we raced outside to grab the last of the dusk for some photos with the wedding party.
