Fuji Ya restaurant is eliminating Blue Fin tuna, one of the least sustainable fish, from its menu. Their sushi chef created several dishes that are sustainable alternatives to blue fin for a piece on Heavy Table.

In Meghann’s words “we need to have photos taken at least every 2 years”. Since it has been almost that long since they were married at the Guthrie theater, it was my great pleasure to see them again for some fun in the fall at Minnehaha Falls park.
I very much enjoyed meeting chef and author Raghavan Iyer for a piece on Heavy Table about his new line of spice blends. I have tried my hand at making spice blends in the past, and I have sworn it off as long as I can get these ones.
