I recently had the opportunity to photograph chef Alex Roberts of Restaurant Alma and Brasa for a profile on the Heavy Table. Here are a few of my favorites in Restaurant Alma. 


At France 44 cheese shop, you can get the most amazing and simple sandwich – butter, comte cheese, local ham, baguette. Oh, so delicious.


Haute Dish is a new restaurant in downtown Minneapolis featuring playful takes on local favorites (like the namesake tater tot hot dish). We made it for opening week, and even ordered the house specialty “Duck in a can”




Later this year, downtown Minneapolis will see the opening of Haute Dish restaurant. I was lucky enough to take some photos of some of the partners in their semi-finished space – based on what is already there, I cannot wait to see it in action.
