On planning for Family photos at the MN State Fair and getting your summer portraits happening!
I look out the window, and it is currently snowing (Ah, April in Minnesota, you trixy imp!).
But summer comes on hard in Minneapolis, and every year we rise to the occasion – taking weekends to enjoy the lakes, camping up north, perhaps the occasional drink in the backyard, and strolling around the chaos and food-scape that is the Great Minnesota Get Together. So, before summer is in full swing, I’m going through some of my favorite portrait sessions from last summer. (And I’ll mention that Spring is a great time to actually plan for your summer portrait session before your weekends are full of other awesomeness!)
If you love the state fair like I do (and I am a blue ribbon winner for my pickled watermelon!) then taking Family photos at the State Fair is a hilariously colorful and chaotic way to enjoy the summer and update your photos, all while enjoying the newest food on a stick.
I present Tim and Jolynn’s annual Family photos at the MN State Fair!
I have loved taking photos of Jolynn and Tim and their family at the State Fair every year. This year, the kids were big enough to ride the sky glider (a terrifying experience for both me and for Tim, though he did a good job of not showing it).
