SO, here is the thing – we are all more busy than ever. We schedule, we over schedule, we travel, we work, we sometimes even enjoy time together.

Trying to schedule a portrait session into that mix can be tricky, especially with kids or less-than-enthusiastic partners.

That’s why I do SHORT portrait sessions – a quick update to portraits, a brief time for kids to focus, an expeditious seasonal headshot, a rapid refresh for photos with your pup.

I’m out of synonyms for short.

But short also means focused and really fun – too quick to get “in your head” and definitely to brief for boredom.

So, with that said, I’m offering weekend SHORT portrait sessions, perfect for everyone (and particularly anyone with an early bedtime!) on September 30 and October 6. (Also, you might enjoy my Thursday Nights at Minnehaha sessions – perfect for couples, more moody portraits, and a bit of elegance with dusk sessions at Minnehaha Falls)

So, what can you expect from a SHORT portrait session? 15 minutes, lots of background options, laughter, trees.

Here are some favorites from my Spring SHORT portrait sessions! (Schedule your SHORT portrait session here or Minnehaha Thursday Night Session)

Photos to expect from SHORT portrait sessions: definitely nice group portrait! I probably did some animal noises on this one to get the kids to look my way.

OK, there will definitely be photos of smiling kids. Did I mention the animal noises? Usually those work.
