Vineyard Wedding Outside Minneapolis
Couples choosing vineyard weddings might not think of Minnesota first, but they would be missing out on some of the lovely event space vineyards that Minnesota can offer. Near to Minneapolis is a gem of a vineyard in 7 Vines Vineyard. In the warmth of summer, the location and greenery are stunning to share with guests.

The barrel room at 7 vines is a gorgeous location for portraits. The exterior of the room has the wooden charm you might be expecting from a wine producing vineyard. The interior is more like a refrigerator (as any climate controlled space tends to be) but features lovely barrels, some specially signed by the couples getting married there. A little finesse with lighting makes these spaces perfect for portraits.
I’m joyful just looking through these photos again – so carefree and happy to be together. When we celebrate in groups in the future, I hope we can have this reckless abandon on the dance floor and quick ability to hug.
So, here are some of my favorite moments from an unforgettable day.
A day that started with the heat of August, and ended with the long blue evenings of Minnesota summer.
In between, there was so much joy – laughter among the grapevines, joyful tears in the ceremony, hugs among family, remarkable music, dancing, cigars on the patio, 7 Vines Wine, and toasts to the newlyweds.
Congratulations to Katie and Luke – you have truly found something remarkable together, and I know you have a lifetime of joy ahead of you!
