A quick run from the Guthrie theater – a photo that took me 40 minutes to make

Silhouette of couple in Amber box of guthrie theater taken from the Stone Arch Bridge at night

This is the Guthrie theater at night, where Liz and Dan had just been married hours before.

This photo required 40 minutes, a mile run with a tripod, a cell phone, a very long exposure, a beautiful night, and an accommodating bride and groom (and a very helpful second shooter – thanks, Jay!)

See the silhouettes in the amber windows? That is really them. Totally worth it.
