Katherine and Will’s wedding at Ashery Lane Farm in MN was a perfect summer celebration for these two well traveled and happy individuals! After meeting in Minneapolis, they have since moved to the West Coast, and their wedding brought people from many part of their lived together.
I first met these two for their engagement photos in Minneapolis’s warehouse district (where they had met years before for work). We spent much of the time laughing that day, and again during their wonderful wedding celebration.
Ashery Lane is a lovely space – it combines a rustic barn aesthetic with more formal elements, and several indoor spaces perfect for dinning, dancing, and all the dressing and storing that happens during a wedding. It was also perfect for these two – Katherine has a love of horses (she was somehow doing a horse-related business deal via phone all day).
After getting dressed, we started in the vineyard for a first look and small stroll. The ceremony in their outdoor trellised area meant no one had to look directly into the sun (an important detail for outdoor weddings!) and was followed by a sunset cocktail hour outside.
And after dinner, the live band brought the party, and the guests did not disappoint.
