Mary and Ozell and their intimate WA Frost wedding in St Paul
I understand that photos are how you’ll share your wedding with your friends, family, and future generations. I take that responsibility extremely seriously. But for those photos to truly represent who you are, the process needs to be fun.
Mary and Ozell planned for their wedding to be intimate and comfortable. For smaller weddings, my main goal is making guests feel comfortable. With so few people in a room, I don’t want their memories to be of me, even as I strive to document those memories at the same time. That can be a challenge, and it is certainly a responsibility, but it is also a wonderful opportunity to play with space and make people feel comfortable.
So thank you, Mary and Ozell, for choosing me to document your wedding. Thank you for trusting me to walk you around and put you in a wine cellar. Thank you for having such wonderful friends and family to celebrate with you. Thank you for plying them with a wine paired dinner at WA Frost so that they were smiling for portraits all night.
