Thrilled to share this stunning wedding of Bekah and Zach at the Abbey Resort on Lake Geneva. A summer wedding at a lakeside resort is a dream as a photographer, but its even better when there is a celebration like this one.
From the boisterous wedding party to the sun-dappled ceremony to the breath-taking reception space, the fun and wonder did not let up.

Using all the spaces at the Abbey Resort for wedding portraits
The Abbey Resort complex is large and sprawling and so it is lovely that they also provided guidance in getting across the venue to make full use of the grounds. We were able to play in the signature A-frame central hall as well for some truly remarkable portraits.

Playing with the large wedding party
When you have 30 folks in your wedding party, you are clearly a person that deeply values connection. Bringing fun into large wedding party portraits involves a little more planning and sometimes a louder voice, but is deeply rewarding when all the laughter and connection shows in the photos. By using a flash composite technique in the A-Frame room, we were able to bring in the outside as well as keep detail in the architecture for this more formal modern portraits. And outside, we were able to play with the spaces for this large group.

Wedding ceremony at Lake Geneva resort
What a dream to get married right in front of the lake, perfectly framed with flowers for your guests to celebrate with you. Bekah and Zach had floral installations that tied together their ceremony and reception spaces, and also provided a more intimate focal point for their vows under the Chuppah.

Dancing the night away in Lake Geneva Wedding
Under a ceiling of floral, guests went hard celebrating Bekah and Zach’s wedding.
