Hi! Do you live in Longfellow? I do, too! Lets connect with Longfellow Neighborhood portraits at Minnehaha Falls. Almost every Thursday, when the weather is nice, I take portraits at Minnehaha Falls Park. Portrait sessions are 15 minutes long, generally with the falls in the background. These are called SHORT portrait sessions because they are meant to be quick and very easy for you to enjoy!
Why SHORT portrait sessions? Because you are super busy, summer is busy, planning things takes mental energy and time and I don’t want you to worry about any of it!
Why Minnehaha Falls? I live close by, and its a wonder to have a waterfall right here in the city. Having such a lovely photo destination right in Longfellow is such a treat as a photographer, I like to make the most of it!
Who are these for? Any reason is a good reason for updated portraits! Short sessions are particularly good for those “I want a nice photo to commemorate this but maybe a whole hour would be too much to coordinate” types of things like:
- couple portraits
- anniversary celebration portrait
- photos when your parents come to town
- friend group reunion portrait
- new headshots
- commemorate the addition of a new family member with photos
- quick and easy senior photos
- new puppy family portrait
- updated portrait of their family for the year
Do you take photos in other places? Yes, I take portraits all over the twin cities. In the Longfellow area, I also offer sessions by Minnehaha Depot, Longfellow gardens, along the creek and Mississippi river boulevard, and occasionally Coldwater Spring Park. I generally offer SHORT portrait sessions at local parks 1 weekend per month, you can see that on the calendar below!
Every Thursday? I offer SHORT portrait sessions almost every Thursday night at Minnehaha Falls while the weather is good (generally May – October)
How long is short? SHORT portrait sessions are 15 minutes from start to finish. Enough time to get a fun mix of photos and never even notice that you are in a portrait session.
What will it be like? There will be walking, a bit of laughter, at least 20 high resolution images, more laughter, a bunch of stairs, and the gorgeous Minnehaha Falls.
What is the cost? Short sessions are $220. It is super easy to reschedule or cancel anytime!
How do I sign up? Just choose a date and time below, then pay the invoice that it generates. If you have questions or you don’t see a date that works for you, email me and we can find a good solution!
