About Becca and Eric’s Minneapolis park elopement:
This wedding was photographed during COVID restrictions, so you will see masks, distancing, and smaller sizes that mark this time in our history. To see more examples of recent weddings, check out my Instagram. To see how I approach photos during the pandemic, here are my ideas for wedding group photos during COVID-19.
A bit of gratitude about for this elopement:
Thank you for choosing a small wedding, for wearing masks, for keeping it distant, and for caring about those around you.
Thank you for allowing me to document it! Thank you for letting me be your second witness (yay!). Thank you for having such amazing style and friends.
Thank you for choosing the single most gorgeous fall day in this whole rainy cloud of a year.
Becca and Eric had planned on a large wedding (including bringing in the amazing wedding photography team that is the Oberports!). COVID changed a lot of things, and their amazing part will happen later, but I was honored to photography their elopement in a park in Northeast Minneapolis.
We headed down to First Ave afterwards to take some portraits where they had their first date.
It was literally the kind of day that you know you will never get as a photographer – bright fall sun, the leaves have turned color but not fallen yet, the sunset brought low warm light all over downtown. Truly a perfect tiny celebration.
Just enough red leaves to frame Becca and Eric’s tiny ceremony Their first date was at first ave, and their taste is exquisite I am probably not supposed to choose favorites, but I *love* this photo so much. Eloped in Minneapolis, photos at first ave
