A sophisticated and sometimes geek-loving wedding at Urban Daisy. And then the inflatable dinosaur showed up.
I feel so lucky to be able to work with clients that I just really dig. And so documenting Annie and Alex’s wedding at Urban Daisy was a total pleasure and had the kind of adventurous “all cards are on the table” approach that I hope all weddings become in this post-COVID world.

Here is the thing – you never expect guests to storm the dance floor in inflatable costumes. And yet, there is something about Annie and Alex’s wedding that made this happening just feel like a natural progression of the evening. Even their spectacular sequined Nicolas Cage pillow, which adorned their head table, felt like an natural part of their decor.
After over a decade of photographing weddings, I remain humbled and joyous that couples continue to surprise me and keep me fully engaged in documenting their unique wedding. It is truly such an honor to be at a wedding like Annie and Alex’s.
