If you know me, you already know my passion for summer camp, which dovetails perfectly into a love of weddings at summer camps. When it all comes together, there is a day that is slightly too hot, the threat of mosquitos, sun dappled laughter, and a bonfire.
For Claire and Scott, not only did they have a perfect day for a summer camp wedding, but they had all their people stay for a full weekend of frivolities. There were swimsuits strewn on drying lines and camp fires made the the zeal that only a camp novice can bring (a third layer of crossing logs? OK!)
And with that came the ease and exuberance of people who are comfortable with each other, sun drenched and perhaps all slightly dehydrated, and so ready to celebrate a really good day.
