Taylors Falls Engagement Photos – Dani and Alex

We are all travelers in the wilderness of this world, and the best we can find in our travels is an honest friend.
-Robert Louis Stevenson

I used to be a camp counselor – a huge part of who I am and what I value comes from those summers spent hiking on trails, responsible for the safety and adventure of other kids, finding a voice for myself.

Which is to say, if you are up for adventure, for travel, then I am too.

Dani and Alex were up for a bit of an adventure for their engagement photos, so we chose Interstate Park at Taylors Falls. This would certainly be a difficult spot for wedding day portraits. We spend a good deal of time climbing and hiking. But it it so very worthwhile to have images that reflect Dani and Alex’s interests.

Engagement photos are all about who you are as a couple, regardless of timing and location. On your wedding day, you may find that there are limitations on time and location and mobility. That means that you can use your engagement photos as a time to focus on what you enjoy doing and the places you like to spend your time.
