I prefer winter and fall, when you feel the bone structure of the landscape. Something waits beneath it; the whole story doesn’t show.

Before I gush about Laura and Eric’s Aster Cafe Wedding in Winter I think I should make it clear – the temperature outside was around zero.
I think that should be said before anything else.
In winter, we agree to share our burden: we remove our jackets, and scarves, and hats. And we agree, for this time, to be warm together.
To find a corner of this bleak cold, sometimes beautiful and sometimes dangerous world, and celebrate together.
So, in that way, Laura and Eric’s wedding was extremely warm, despite the temperature outside.
(Which, again, was very, very cold)
Laura and Eric were up for braving the cold – for getting in a carriage and wending their way from the Nicollet Island Inn to the Aster Cafe. They were up for sharing the skyline with their guests (in an epic all-wedding-guest photo in the cold night air), and after their intimate wedding ceremony in the round, they danced and laughed the night away.

Do you need a dramatic portrait with an epic skyline and clear blue skies for your wedding? Of course not. But you do deserve it.
Cold days mean clear skies, and that skyline is working it!

That just married feeling!
