What an honor it was to work with Kanisha and Chris for their Machine Shop Indian Wedding in Minneapolis. Over the past years, we have worked on engagement photos and a few COVID delays to make this moment of WOW! happen.
Their multi day wedding incorporated Indian traditions from Kanisha’s family as well as nods to Chris’s family and the life they share together. From the food to the music, everything was planned with care to be both celebratory and exuberant. I would expect nothing less from their wedding planner, Rocket Science Events. Every wedding and event I have ever worked at with Gretchen from Rocket Science has been colorful and unexpected, and the design never detracts from the main focus – people celebrating together.
Weddings at the Machine Shop are gorgeous ways to show off Minneapolis to guests from all over, and Kanisha and Chris put all these spaces to good use. Their ceremony featured a flower covered Mandap. The celebration continued with cocktail hour upstairs and then a reception in the main space.
