Marissa and Jason’s Minneapolis Event Center Wedding
Greetings from a wedding shot in a pre-COVID world.
When I started being a wedding photographer in 2006, I had no idea how this journey would unfold. I love being with people, I love problem solving, and I thrive in a constantly shifting environment, so its worked out pretty well.
As I blog again, I’m reflecting on the extreme shifts required of event professionals in these last few years of COVID-19. Flexibility, persistence, compassion, ingenuity, and some heartbreak have all been a part of this story.

It is an extreme act of hope to share Marissa and Jason’s wedding from before the pandemic. Over the past several years I have ridden numerous waves of isolating and gathering again. As I look forward to what 2022 holds, I feel excited to see the kind of energy and community that Marissa and Jason’s Minneapolis Event Center wedding held.
My biggest hope- that we still get on the dance floor like its 2019!
And so here is Jason and Marissa’s Minneapolis Event Center Wedding – full of some truly epic dance moves, the best views of Minneapolis across the Mississippi, and a whole heck of a lot of joy.
