Look, I get it.
You’ve probably been doing a lot of things in your life that don’t involve looking natural and fantastic in front of a camera. I hope that when you dance at a concert with your friends, for example, or run a 5k, or have a movie night at home with your sweetie, that you don’t consider for a moment if you look fantastic, but instead how it feels to be with people you love.
But I’m sure that sometimes you do look natural, and fantastic, and gorgeous doing those things.
And I love proving it.
Case in point – Clayton and Jared were so worried about their engagement photos looking awkward that they invited their friends to join them for a champagne toast so that there would be mingling and, well, champagne. And it turns out if you have 20 of your closest friends to celebrate with you, then you are actually just having a party, and it was awesome.
But before their accidental engagement party, we walked around a bit to get some photos of just the two of them. Occasionally making silly faces, occasionally having beautiful moments together, and being just perfect.
Since these engagement photos were taken, I have also documented Clayton and Jared’s St Olaf wedding!
